This building consists of 3 levels housing all the necessary spaces and equipment for students to use. The bridge sits on top of the building and extends out to NIDA and the Tyree Building. The modern building, based on deconstructivistic architecture. The unique facade, roof, outside and birdge of the building is heavily by Zaha Hadid's, Riverside Museum and Peter Zumthor, Church.

Theory

The main topic I focused on was deconstructivist architecture.

5 Words:

  • Structural
  • Fragmented
  • Rebellious
  • Elegant
  • Geometric
Sentence:

Going against traditional and modern rules of ornamental design and ‘form follow function’, respectively, deconstructivism provides an elegant and rebellious style upon a fragmented and dislocated building.
